Give your body rest after such a long flight, and when you sit outside you should use sunscreen with a high sun protection factor, because even if it’s overcast you will get a sunburn if you don’t look after your skin.

The Balinese people get up early and don’t go to bed late, which is why the night life in Sanur is done around midnight, and for later fun you will have to go to Kuta, Seminyak or Legian.

For your shopping you can go to Hardy’s, this is a supermarket, if you step out of the hotel it’s  + 300 m to your left, and here you can buy everything, from fruit/yoghurt to beer/wine, pharmacy articles etc. and on the 1st floor there are clothes/shoes and jewellery.

At Hardy’s or right across the street you can also buy a telephone ticket for 50,000 or 100,000 rupiah or more, you will then get an Indonesian phone number and you’ll be able to send texts and make calls for a low price, especially if you enter this first: 01017 and then the country code 31 (for the Netherlands) and then the phone number without the first zero.

It’s practical if you bring some euros, which you can easily exchange.  But DO NOT exchange at the local exchangers, they do tricks with notes, so that you always lose money. It’s best to go to PT.Bali Maspintjintra on the Jalan Danau Tamblingan No. 18 for example, when you step outside the hotel you should go to the left (by bicycle 10 min.) on the left side of the road.

Using your debit card is also possible, but you must do this at a bank, such as the Permata bank to the left of the hotel.
